I am Sam Alexander. I have attended Rock Creek International School, The French International School and Woodrow Wilson High School. I was adopted from Kazakhstan. I like seeing all my friends at school and learning interesting stuff. My strengths are being dedicated to a task when motivated, getting my self motivated and I am willing to try new things. I love to try new foods and travel around the world. If you set your mind to it you can accomplish anything. I am very good at falling asleep anytime and anywhere except when I actually need to go to bed. My weaknesses are writing and reading comprehension. I am not very good at staying awake.
I have a younger sister. I am five years older than her. She goes to Oyster. She was adopted from Guatemala. I have lived in the same house ever since I was adopted. I speak fluent french and took three years of Spanish. My Mother went to UNC and so I am a huge UNC fan. Unfortunately I do not have any UNC apparel now because I outgrew them all but I will be ready for March Madness. I think my Father went to the London Business school and some other place. I have a dog who is a lab mix. He is very funny and fun to play with. He is also protective and very curious. He loves to eat the trash. He is mostly a good boy. We have friends in North Carolina who have four dogs and one of their dogs in my dogs brother.
I am a competitive swimmer. I also play ultimate Frisbee. I love to play sports. I love sailing, I would do that all day if I could. I used to play piano and I play some guitar now. I have a computer at home and I know how to operate it. I am good at typing. I am proud of my performance at junior champs this summer because I had to work hard to get there and I worked hard to do well at that meet. I like to read mystery books and action ones. My favorite books are Ten Little Indians and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
I am not good at writing, spelling or reading comprehension. I would like to get an A in this class. I also want to learn. I want to read good books. I swim 7-8 times a week.
